outcome-based Work Works, Inc. is a Poughkeepsie-based community improvement/development organization. Our mission is to implementing and executing programs to improve low and moderate-income communities' overall financial well-being.
Our developmental activity is experiential carpentry learning and professional development.

Location & Qualification Work Works, Inc., is an IRS-qualified nonprofit organization located in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Our Program The program offers individuals a chance to learn basic carpentry or woodworking skills by creating activities or projects, working with various power and handheld tools. Individuals are trained on workplace safety and learn to follow a blueprint to complete activity or project. The skills learned are a stepping point toward finding meaningful employment in the green smart construction industry.
The program includes several months of classroom and laboratory instruction. The curriculum was designed by Arthur R. Atkins, Sr. (Master's degree in Curriculum and Supervision and Professional Diploma in Educational Leadership).
